I used to journal every night from when I first learned how to write until almost 2 years ago. I trickled off writing less and less as life got busier and busier, and now I wish I hadn't. It's amazing to go back through old journals and read about who I was and what I thought about the world and my life. I am transported back to those feelings and thoughts as if it were yesterday. That is why I am starting this blog! Since we are in "the digital age" I am going digital and putting my thoughts out there online for posterity and hopefully entertainment for you all who read this.
It makes me sad that I haven't recorded my life with Greg so I am making him a part of this as well (he just doesn't know it yet, ha). Thus the name of this blog...Surfing (me) and Sailing (Greg). I have always wanted to go surfing and Greg has always wanted to go sailing. This blog will be about our life, our wishes, goals, hopes, and dreams. I thought surfing and sailing was a good metaphor for that theme.
We start this blog with t-minus 64 days until out wedding - our life as we know it together!!!! So that's where we will start, next time I blog (that sounds so funny, and yet exciting, to write) I'll let you know how plans are coming along...XOXO Callie
